Welcome to Chiverton Alpacas
Our farm is situated on Phillip Island in Victoria, we are just over 1 hours drive by road South East of Melbourne CBD, an easy day trip from the city.
Chiverton Alpacas began in 1995, with the purchase of 2 females and 3 wethers.
One of these females, a medium grey,is still with us, although she has now been retired from breeding, after giving us 11 crias, including 2 grey stud males!
The huge range of colours in the grey herd is lovely to behold, and always attracts visitors to our farm.
We have many years of experience in alpacas to offer the newcomer or the established breeder.

We enjoy talking to visitors about our alpacas, their genetics, their show ribbons and fleece ribbons.
We do not attend a lot of shows but have won many championship ribbons for animals and fleeces.
Husbandry classes for new breeders can be arranged and we take the time to ensure that all aspects of caring for alpacas are understood.

Chiverton alpacas have been halter trained, well handled and have quiet temperaments.
